So I launched the program from the users account using the Run As Admin commandĪnd it worked. So I reinstalled the software on the user's account (standard user, not admin) and authorized the install with our installer admin account and got the same message. The troubleshooting guide gave no real help. Over and the error message said it couldn't find the Lifecam files. Yesterday, there was a change made to their AD account (we changed the server their files redirect to) and now the software won't work. One of our offices uses a MS HD 6000 Lifecam to take images of people for their case files. I am a help desk tech for a city and I'm having issues with the Microsoft LiveCam software.
